REGISTRATION TIME IS HERE! Robin’s Nest is excited to start registering for the 2022-23 school year. Our existing families receive priority registration. Please check your email and for the SignUp Genius link to take advantage of your priority registration time. We have open registration on Friday, February 11th. Typically, when we open to the public the school is full that day. Please make sure you sign up quickly to enroll your child for next year.

Important: Forms are available on our website or in the office. EVERY line on the forms must be filled out. VPK vouchers are due no later than May 15th, 2022. Download our REGISTRATION CHECKLIST to make sure you are prepared! We will have a notary available at registration.

Note: A check for the registration fee ($150) and activity fee ($100) are required for registration. VPK students are not required to pay registration or activity fees but are asked to make a voluntary donation of $250 at registration. This is to cover the cost of extra enrichment activities that are not covered by the amount that we receive from the State of Florida.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIRThe book fair will be held Monday, February 28th through Friday, March 4th in the lobby area by the sanctuary. Followed by a special shopping event for Dad’s on Saturday, March 5th. Money raised will be used to enhance our preschool literacy program. We will need volunteers for this event, so please keep an eye out for upcoming information on how to sign up to help!

DONUTS WITH DAD!  Robin’s Nest has a special EVENT planned for our Dad’s. We will continue the book fair outside the morning of Saturday, March 5th. Our Dad’s and children will show up between 9:00 – 11:00. They can shop for books at our book fair and even grab a yummy treat for breakfast. If Dad is not available, grandpas, uncles, or other adult male friends are welcome. Watch for an invitation with details coming home soon.

COLD AND FLU SEASON IS HERE!  COVID-19, the common cold, seasonal allergies, and the flu (influenza) cause similar symptoms. As a reminder, the symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) include the following:

  •  Elevated fever
  •  Loss of taste and/or sense of smell
  •  Headache
  •  Unexplained cough
  •  Congestion
  •  Shortness of breath
  •  Sore throat
  •  Unexplained rash
  •  Muscle aches
  •  Diarrhea
  •  Vomiting

If your child has any of these symptoms, we implore you not to bring them on campus and to contact us. It is best to monitor and see if symptoms improve before returning to campus.

SPRING BASKET AUCTION Can you believe it? We have already begun thinking about our Spring Basket Auction in April! With your help, each class will create a unique class art project and put together a fun-filled basket based on a designated theme. A list of the themed baskets will be on the PAC bulletin board in the Robin’s Nest hallway soon.

In addition to the class baskets, we often get generous donations from local businesses. Our auction usually has over 100 items to bid on!

If you know of any businesses that would like to donate – or you would like to donate yourself- please let your room mom, PAC Officer Brittany Proefke or the Robin’s Nest office know. We can provide any needed paperwork.

The Spring Basket Auction will be held the week of April 19th – 22nd.
