The Robin’s Nest preschool was established in 1983 as a mission of Palm Harbor United Methodist Church. Originally located in downtown Palm Harbor, The Robin’s Nest preschool was started by a committee of people who wished to create a preschool where children would be “nurtured and allowed to grow while surrounded by loving and caring teachers.” This original goal remains intact today in our campus located at the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church in Palm Harbor as The Robin’s Nest continues to grow and evolve as a preschool dedicated to providing a positive, nurturing school experience for your child.
The Robin’s Nest is accredited by the Christian Preschool Association (CPA), holds a Gold Seal Quality of Care Certificate presented by the Florida Department of Children and Families Childcare Services and is licensed by the Pinellas County License Board (license #C000846).
The Robin’s Nest preschool admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin. The preschool offers early childhood programs to children who turn 2 through 4 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year.
Parents of the Robin’s Nest preschool students play an active role in their child’s preschool experience. Parents have many opportunities to volunteer in the classrooms, during special events and in our Parent Volunteer Organization (PVO).
