FALL FUNDRAISER
Our Raise Craze fundraiser ended on September 30th. This fundraiser has encouraged the children to live a life full of compassion, empathy, and gratitude and to give back to others! It has been so fun to see them spread kindness in our community. A Special Thank You to Britany P. for leading this fundraiser. FALL MISSION
Operation Christmas Child is our Fall mission. We could not be happier to take part in this amazing cause. Let the packing of shoeboxes begin! Every shoebox gift delivered by Operation Christmas Child is a tangible expression of God’s amazing love. Flyers will go out later this month with important details.
NOAH’S ARK SCHOOL AND CHURCH PARADE
Calling all animals to the ark! The Robin’s Nest 3 and 4-year-old classes will participate in both a church parade and a school parade this year. We are so excited to be able to share our Noah’s Ark parade with the church. All of our 3 and 4-year-olds are invited to come to church on October 23. This will be a great dress rehearsal/practice for our children so that they will be ready for a school parade later in the week. The service will begin with our students parading through the sanctuary and going on stage to sing. Details will go home later this month.
For our school parade, parents are asked to bring their child to school dressed in an animal costume (no costume masks or accessories; shoes are required) the morning of their event. Please also bring a change of clothes in a labeled bag. Everyone is invited to come and watch the Noah’s Ark Parade!
PARENT ADVOCATE CLUB (PAC)
Thank you to everyone that attended our first PAC meetings in September. Our PAC officers for the 2022-2023 school year are Brittany P., Jenni K., Sara R., Carol G. and Gina M. The Robin’s Nest PAC is open to all parents and members of PHUMC who wish to actively support our school. PAC meetings are generally the first Thursday and Friday of the month. Come join a committee and make new friends. Siblings are welcome!
